Zara's Top Five Digital Camera Tips

    1.
Look for a digital camera that has a viewfinder / optical view finder in addition to an LCD screen Reason being - LCD screens are notoriously difficult to use outide in many cases as sunlight refelects off the screen and you are essentitally 'guessing your picture' very frustrating!

    2.
Buy a cover or case with your digital camera! - dust, pen points/nail files etc. in bags can easily damage the lense a reasonably padded case may also protect it in a light fall or bump too.

    3.
Remember that you can use a variety of graphic packages with your photos - so if one camera brakes - it doesn't mean the software is no good - I use about 3 different photo suites to edit my images :)

    4.
Other specs. to have on a budget digital camera - atleast 3 MP, a memory slot (you can buy cheap memory cards from Tescos supermarket)

    5.
I recommend getting an external hard drive or a flash drive to save photo's as a back up - as many people - including myself have lost photos in the past due to PC hard drive failure with no back up.
